Delivery

ART

For the delivery of artwork, we make agreements with each artist for a delivery period.
The delivery time of each artwork is always stated on the product page.

LIGHTING

For lighting we use the following delivery times:

The Netherlands
Within 1 – 2 working days after receipt of payment.

Belgium
Within 2 – 3 working days after receipt of payment.

Other countries within the European Union
Within 2 – 5 working days after receipt of payment.

Countries outside the European Union
Within 5 – 15 working days after receipt of payment.

The final costs for delivery are automatically calculated when you enter your delivery location at checkout. In the shopping cart you can also fill in the address in advance and view the delivery options and costs.

These shipping costs only apply for purchases on artandlighting.com

We send our packages via PostNL. The packages are shipped insured as standard. That means the following:

– Within the Netherlands and countries within the European Union, the sales price will be reimbursed with a maximum of €100 per product or set.
– Outside the European Union, the sales price will be reimbursed with a maximum of €200 per product or set.
– For our more exclusive lighting, we insure for a higher amount.

It’s not possible to insure the full amount of a product. The amount a lamp is insured for is always stated in the product description.

Keep in mind that shipping costs (world wide) and taxes outside the European Union are excluded from the insurance.

When an order gets lost or damaged, we will handle the buyer’s claim. Our company cannot be held liable for the insurance money, since the insurance is not obtained from us.

We ship our products worldwide. The most common destinations are processed in our system. This allows you to easily complete the purchase via our webshop. If your country is not in our system, you can e-mail us at info@artandlighting.com. We will send an offer that includes the shipping costs to your delivery address.

Warranty and returns

New products in our webshop have 1 year warranty. There is no warranty for vintage or antique products.

If there is anything wrong with your product, please do not hesitate to contact us.

That’s not a problem. You can return the purchase within 14 days of receipt (with the exception of customized products). Always contact us first before returning the product via info@artandlighting.com. The costs for the return shipment are for the buyer. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for the reduction in value. Once we have received the product, we will refund the amount within 14 days.

Only product costs are refundable. Any extra costs for example taxes, payment- and shipping costs are not refundable.

The insurance goes through the parcel company. If your product got damaged during transport, it’s important to let us know within 3 days after receiving the package. You can contact us by sending an e-mail to info@artandlighting.com with the following information:

  • a photo of the damaged product
  • a photo of the box (outside)
  • a photo of the box which shows the transport label

We will contact the parcel company for insurance.

IMPORTANT
It’s important to keep the box until we have received the confirmation from the parcel company. They might need more information later.

Important note for international buyers

For international customers outside the European Union, please note that our product and shipping cost does not include the destination country’s duty, tax or customs fee. If applicable, these will be assessed upon delivery. Estimated delivery time for international shipping is not guaranteed as items will sometimes got held up in the custom of destination country.
